More information about pricing, packages, and what to expect

You will never hear the word "investment" from me because I feel memories should not have to break the bank.

Boudoir

from $475

Something that has always upset me about the boudoir community is how high the prices are.  "Investing" in oneself should not have to be photos for memories, a gift, or for confidence sake. If you want to invest in yourself; put yourself through school. Eat healthy foods. Spend the extra thousand dollars on a gym membership. Invest your money in the market. Better yourself for more than just memories.

With all this being said, I understand why photographers charge so much. IT'S A LOT OF WORK. Editing takes hours, cameras are expensive, studio time can be pricy and my fellow creatives need to turn a profit.  But that's our problem and shouldn't be yours! I am not going to hide how much money it will cost you to have a session with me.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. For boudoir, Do I bring my own lingerie?

Yes. I DO Yes. I DO NOT have a client closet. Before you turn away, the reason I don't is because it's unsanitary, lets be real.

I also love that every woman comes in with a different wardrobe that meets their individual style.  All of us are all unique and it's important to embrace that.  Especially when they bring something important to them like a sweater they love, their man's dress shirt, or even a prop.

That being said, you don't need to spend $100s of dollars on outfits you'll wear once. I always recommend SHEIN -- they have so many different options  of styles and colors and they're CHEAP.  My personal favorite lingerie piece is a body suit. I think it is appealing to all women and different figures.

2. Do you edit your images?

I do use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to edit your favorite photos! Although I am huge on body positivity, I also believe that we don't need to emphasize cellulite and rolls. Let me be clear: I do not change your images to not look like you. All women are beautiful.  The editing process is extremely thorough which includes skin retouching to remove pimples, fat rolls, cellulite, stretch marks, or any other abrasion you may be concerned about.

Your photos will be edited in a darker, moody style with nature's touches and neutral colors. This includes all of my images from family photos to boudoir.

3. How long does it take for you to edit?

Unfortunately for me, that's the time consuming  part. Each image for a boudoir session takes me about 30-45 mins. For a family photo, it could be longer or shorter depending on the amount of skin and people! This is because I am examining every spot that can be out of place in each image. This being said, I usually quote about 3-4 weeks to get your finished images. IF you have a special occasion you need these images for, PLEASE let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly! I am going to be 100% honest and say that I do get behind due to this being my part time gig.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Risus adipiscing nisi massa pellentesque. At pharetra commodo praesent sollicitudin non ante nulla sit. Sed amet ut viverra arcu et id massa volutpat. Malesuada commodo metus ipsum dui at euismod. Sed vestibulum aliquam proin fermentum nibh.Risus adipiscing

Frequently Asked Questions

5. Do you TRAVEL?

I travel locally in CT, MA, NH, or RI. Because gas is so expensive, I do add a travel fee to anywhere > 15 miles from Somers, CT. For more information, please contact me directly.

This being said some of my favorite spots to shoot couple photos:

Harkness Park, Waterford, CT

Elizabeth Park, West Hartford, CT

Park Hill Orchard, East Hampton, MA

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

YES! I Encourage this. I want you to show me what you want out of this session! After all, these are your photos! Bring inspiration photos or even send them before ! But please keep in mind, I can't CLONE the exact image.

I am personally not huge on "posed" images. Looking at the camera with a huge grin on our faces just doesn't look natural to me. Instead, I will coach you into more "candid" poses. Interacting with your partner is key in really showing the camera how much you love one another. Dancing, laughing, hugs, and of course all of the kisses will be involved. Sorry, boys.

7. What should We wear?

Neutral colors always look best in front of the camera. Whites, browns, tans, etc.

If you wear a dark color, it can actually take away from the photo because the human eye is drawn directly to the dark area of the image. Try and avoid black shoes, unless the entire outfit is dark.

Make sure you wear your engagement ring if your shoot involves and engagement!

For boudoir clients, I send you a client guide when you book to help pick out outfits and props to bring!

8. "If we have an outdoor shoot and the weather isn't holding out, what do we do?"

If you have a vision being outside for this shoot, we will reschedule for a day that works for all of our schedules.

If finding another time to reschedule proves to be difficult, I do have a studio in Hartford, CT.

Frequently Asked Questions

9. "Can we purchase the RAW unedited image?"

While a portrait (couples, engagements, maternity, family, etc) package itself comes with 25 edited photos (photoshop included), I do not allow the purchase of the RAW unedited image. Same for boudoir images.

However, I do allow for the purchase of the entire album to be minimally edited. The images in this option will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color.

** BOUDOIR NOT INCLUDED**

10. "Can I bring a friend?"

Absolutely.  I think bringing a friend can make someone feel more comfortable. It also gives us extra eyes to see if something is misplaced on your outfit, if your hair is out of place, etc.

Also, I love when friends come up with ideas to shoot. They know you best so I always encourage collaboration when it comes to different poses!

11. "Do you offer make up or hair services?"

We are lucky enough to have Katie, a MUA that comes directly to the studio. You can add Katie to any service we offer for an additional $90. Her services take about 1 hour, which will be added to your session time. At this time, we don't have a hair specialist.

12. "Can we bring our dog?"

I insist on it, actually.
